Quote: What's this I hear about a slip-cover. From the big stack that I picked mine out of, none of them had a slip-cover. Is this some sort of hoax...
Like MGM's plastic slip-covers, WB, let's say, put out 100,000 of them. after that, there's no more. To me, this slip-cover isn't anything special. Just a waste of materials.

Quote: The actual dvd cover (pictured in this thread) is sorta lame, giving away the film, but I guess that's a foregone conclusion. Still, it's sorta out of character for WB, since they've been pretty good with choosing original poster art for covers. What happened here?
When WB switched from snapper case to keepcase, they changed the art work of The Shawshank Redemption, Chariots of Fire, Strangers on a Train and The Iron Giant. Those are the only ones I know of that has changed. Goodfellas, The Lost Boys, Gothika, North By Northwest and Blazing Saddles stayed the same.

They probably figured out something like, "OMG, hey, we don't have to change the artwork just because we are changing the cases. D'oh!"
