The "Andy's Diary" special feature on the Dawn of the Dead DVD.... No me gusta!
Talk about crappy acting! The actor who plays Andy in Dawn '04, well...he didn't have any acting to do in the movie. He was never heard talking in person, only on a radio....
But then there is a special feature where he acts, and.....
He's AWFUL. So over the top, the entire time. It was pretty funny.
Anyway, i'm posting this because I thought Andy was a cool character. After watching this special feature, it actually made me like him less! That's a first for me.
Has there ever been a special feature on the DVD that actually made you like a character (or something about the film) a lot less?

I've never watched it, but looking at the reviews for the dvd Winged Migration, a lot have said it was a great movie, but then they watched the special features, specifically the "Making Of" feature, which lowered their opinion on the movie as a whole.

I don't know why this couldn't have been put as your opinion in one of the already existing threads of Dawn Of The Dead but, yeah, the acting was poor and I don't really care for this extra. The movie was good enough for me.

The ending of "the video" was well handled though.

But, the movie was great.

I thought the acting in the movie was great. The special features on the other hand look like something they threw together over a weekend.

I also thought the acting was kinda bad. However, the feature overall was amusing, and it tied in pretty well with the movie. As for the news feature, they needed better audio work, like in the press meetings--there was dead silence when the room should've been buzzing.

That said, I think the film's acting is great....The special feature actors are awful...Especially Andy's ex-wife! That lady was so over the top it made me laugh. It was like bad community theatre.
