Airplane II: The Sequel

Allo all

I have the DVD for Airplane II.

Before I bought this DVD I have watched it on TV MANY times. The TV cut is very different than the original film release. Lots of changed/deleted/added scenes.

I would love to find I guess we coudl call the TV cut if anyone could help me out!

thanks!

Probably not. The TV is usually created to help the movie fill a two hour time slot. The DVD reflects the original threatrical version.

Exactly. You think the sequal has extra footage, you should see the TV version of the original! From what I have read, over 20 minutes of footage was added.

Hopefully, there will be an SE of the original at some point (doubtful of an SE of the dequal, to be honest), which will include the extra footage, if not included through seamless branching, at least as an extra. Some of that material was pretty funny.

I'm still wondering if anyone recorded "Zero Hour!" earlier this year.

I really have to see the movie that inspired the orginal "Airplane!"
