I must say this is pretty disappointing since I picked this up on release day because I did enjoy it alot. To throw out a disc with more special features without warning is pretty lousy on the part of Focus Features. Oh well I doubt I double dip, the disc suits me fine enough.

I guess it is better that it's not going to be just an extra disc for the soundtrack. I was sent the full screen version, so I haven't opened it yet and was going to send it back. I guess now I'll just get credit for it rather than replace it with the widescreen. I can wait to get a better package.

And another point that I forgot to make ... I don't mind when they do something like this, as long as the consumer knows and can make an informed decision. Let us know before the release date that a special edition is being planned. They did that (gave advance notice of better future versions) with X-Men, Lord of the Rings, Kill Bill. Let us make up our minds which version we want to get.

Definitely lame that they didnt' announce this ahead of time, especially since the first release was a little price at $19.99 most everywhere the week of release.

Oh well, they're not getting my money again as the current verison looks and sound fine.
