This is one of those movies that looked extremely awful from the previews but turned out to be quite hilarious. I may just have to pick this up.

Cover art from Amazon:

Cover Art from DVD Empire:

I think the DVD Empire picture might be of the slipcover and the Amazon picture is of the keepcase insert.

You had to bump for a 4 year old thread for a re-release with a different date then the topic?

Didn't think it warranted a new thread, specially when this so-called Special Edition re-releases are the same as the previous release with the only bonus of a movie ticket to see the sequel.

If it bothers you so much, just ask the mods to create a separate thread with the new release date.

Really? A sequel? I've had my fill of Kal Penn quite frankly....
(Because Jah-Wren Ryel put it in quotation marks, I thought he was kidding!)

Strunk and White says to put quotation marks around titles.
There is a label on one of the pictured covers indicating the free ticket.

How DARE you throw "Elements of Style" around on an internet bulletin board!

I usually bold titles and use quotation marks for episode names to eliminate confusion. Take that E.B. White you stodgy old fart!

Lmao @ "Elements of Style." I love Strunk and White.

What is the difference between this and the already unrated version of the movie that has been released? I really don't want to double dip.

Ditto. No Blu-ray is no sale for me on this one. My current SD is fine enough.

Where? The only thing I see is in Section III: "Titles. For the titles of literary works, scholarly usage prefers italics with capitalized initials."

I've always used italics for titles of films, books, albums, etc.

The very next sentence, since a web-forum is not scholarly usage.

"The usage of editors and publishers varies, some using italics with capitalized initials, others using Roman with capitalized initials and with or without quotation marks."

I've always used italics for titles of films, books, albums, etc.
Normally, I'm too lazy to type the tags for italics.

I might get it and give my current disc to a friend, but only if it really includes EVERYTHING from the first release plus the two new featurettes ("Hall of Fame" and sneak peek).

This is the type of re-release that makes my scratch my head and wonder 'why' the studios don't release 'not available on DVD' releases before they revisit such releases as this.

No offense intended for fans of this release.

Re-releases like this one are intended for the purpose of restocking the title at retailers and give the box office a boost by giving away one ticket for the sequel. Studies show that the majority of people go with someone to the theaters, so even if the have one free ticket, another person will make a purchase.
