I'm pretty sure that's also a violation of our terms of service to be linking to a site that promotes/sells bootlegs.
are you serious?? oh please oh please, some mod ban this bootlegger..no place in this world for their kind!

Plus, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy a good cartoon.
I'm 23, enjoyed Aladdin when it came out and now that my wife is preggnant I'm buying it for the future kid and as a guilty pleasure for myself

Well I'm glad you are here to tell us about your nationwide survey of "adults" you may know that would not be interested in this.

Please feel free to conduct this very say poll for election coverage and everything else in life.

Just because you and the small group of people you may know are not into this sort of thing, doesn't mean that there isn't a market for it. Most of all Disney has always tossed in those selling words like Limited, Collectors, Special Edition, etc. on their films so that they can market it a certain way.

Barebone copies may attract those who want to see the film. But by filling it with special features and so forth you get those parents interested in the film.

[sarcasm]Most "Adults" that I know don't like Beavis and Butthead, so therefore the OP isn't an adult...[/sarcasm]

I am 34, no kids, and I have tons of Disney and other "family" titles in my collection, not to mention all the anime.

Many of the early Disney titles were NOT aimed at kids, but rather adult audiences. That is also true of all of the animated shorts like WB, and so forth.

whatever. All you people are little kids for liking some silly kids movie!

YOU CHILDERN!

I mean come on, try to prove me differently and I'll show you any thread where you guys are crying to your momma's for a dvd insert.

Anyhow, we are dvd collectors. Of course we would be buying something quicker if it offered up a lot of behind the scenes and extra material in a nice package like this. Disney has it on the ball if you ask me.

Some adults may like 'em, but fact is that they're designed and marketed towards children.
But Disney does it just for marketing reasons. I'm sure most who purchase this don't watch the extras, but the extras and nice packaging are an incentive.

actually, they are designed and marketed towards adults. Adults have money. Money can be exchanged for goods and services such as this. You slap out a kiddie movie with nothing for the adults to make an excuse to buy it then you only have the sales from those parents who's kids bugged them all day.

You slap a SPECIAL EDITION on it and folks start reading into that. Kids don't give a fuck if it's special or not. they just want the damn movie. Adults on the other hand will justify buying it because it gives them the behind the scenes look on the movie. Making of and all that other crap that makes them feel they are getting something extra with their purchase of said film.

Notice when most of the ads are going on? I saw a couple during Extreme make over house edition. You get potential kids who are watching tv with their folks, but most of all you have the target of those who are thinking or looking at building or fixing up their home. That could be those who would one day want to start a family. Might as well buy this special edition now.

Well, I will be getting it. I own pretty much all the Disney animated classics currently out. I am joining the Disney movie club to flesh out the collection. Many have never been watched, but they will be eventually. I am sure they will get great usage when we have kids in a few years.

Oh, and Alladdin is a favorite. I actually bought it with a few others like the Ducktales movie on LaserDisc because I got tired of waiting for the DVD.

when this movie came out 12 years ago (yeah, its been that long), many of the current adults were kids when they saw this movie.

I be buying this on Tuesday.

This is one of the better Disney animated movie they made at the time. Nowaday the quality today is pretty much sad sight right now. I'm glad that Eisner is finally going to retire soon, he pretty much is responsible for the downhill of Disney animations today.

Do *not* underestimate the adult market for Disney stuff.

Disney *has* in the last few years, and it's one reason the company has gone in the toilet lately. Little kids don't have credit cards and buy videos, or book vacations in Disneyland, or buy online at the Disney Store. Ultimately, it's the adults who are making the buying decisions, even for "kids" products, because they end up using the product as well. Even if it's just because Lizzy McGuire is being played over and over again.

Tell that to the thousands and thousands of adults who bought Scene-It over the past year. That thing sells really well with the over-30 crowd.
