I just went to it and had no problem. Did you type in thedigitalbits.com? That worked fine with me. They said they have been having problems with people who weren't typing "the" in front of the Web site.

You guys are obsessed with that site. If you need uncorfirmed rumors, I can make some up for you.

Aren't rumors inherently unconfirmed?

You've got the wrong address. It's http://www.thedigitalbits.com/ not http://www.digitalbits.com/

Too much editorializing and too many excuses.

From their website update on 9/30...

At the risk of incurring Barrie Maxwell's wrath, we're going to hold his latest Classic Coming Attractions column one more day. The reason is that we've discovered a little server glitch that we're sorting out as we speak. If you're reading this now, you're seeing The Digital Bits on its brand new server. The transition has been nearly flawless. The one minor issue is that when the domains were re-routed, www.thedigitalbits.com was pointed toward the new server, but www.digitalbits.com wasn't! We didn't realize this until last night, when we started getting a few e-mails from worried readers who wondered why we hadn't updated the site in a week. Turned out they'd been using the digitalbits.com address. Anyway, we should have this straightened out by the end of the day, so we'll post Barrie's column tomorrow. We've gotta make sure ALL our readers get the chance to see it and not just some!

Works for me.

While I go to the site every day, they are a little behind in the news or posting new cover art. Other sites post news or cover art several days before Bits does.

Mainly go there for the rumors.

Also notice that the site is usually updated around 12:01 A.M., usually everday, but some other sites update several times each day.

I find dvdanswers.com to be a good site with the most up to date news.
