No I just have difficulty grasping how people can manage to have nothing better to do with their time than REPEATEDLY post on the net about movies they hate.

I see something, I don't like it, I post in the review thread once and go on with life. I already wasted 2+ hours watching the movie, no need to waste more time posting about it over and over and over again.

Like i said before crystal picture and extras (WOW so that's what it's like to have the actors just joke around offset, i'd never know they could do that! i thought they were all robots made by Lucas to act however he wants :O) don't wow me. I'm fine with the original VHS tapes of the actual trilogy, not some reworked piece of art.
Hey lets update the Mona Lisa to make her look happier!

I bought the SW Set on the 1st day and have enjoyed them ever since.

The only thing that really bugged me was ANH still having a few shots with messed up Space Ship sceens. They fixed most of the errors, why couldn't they fix them all. GL had years to work on this, did everyone over at ILM miss what we all saw in an instant.

I have very glad I bought the set and will enjoy it for years to come.

I watch Star Wars all the time. I'll never watch this new DVD version again.

You know you're not supposed to actually enjoy the films. You're supposed to enjoy incessantly searching for crap to whine.

I'm not sure about "never will" part but the new changes is like an unbearable allergy to me. I'm better off with SE VHS.

I originally said I wasn't going to buy it, but ended up purchasing. The picture and sound are exceptional (flipped rear channels on ANH wasn't that noticable to me) on this box set. I am a die-hard fan of the OT, however and while watching these new DVDs I simply fast-forward the SE additions and muted the new sounds which were added. (e.g. when Kenobi scares the Sand People with his new "car alarm" wail. I now mute that part and imagine in my mind the original sound.) Believe it or not, it works! Of course, it's hard to get around Hayden's ghost at the end of ROTJ, so at that point I turn off the DVD player and pop in the OT VHS tape for the final 5 minutes to hear the beloved "Yub Yub" song, as well as seeing Anakin as an adult rather than some snot-nosed youth such as Hayden Christiansen.
