I personally can't wait to see the docu, even though my friend who was just at Toronto IFF, said that the general audience reaction was pretty negative.

if TLA is indeed releasing this I would be very careful....

Good news for those that are not region-free.

I saw it at TIFF. It's probably my least favourite Kiarostami, even more austere than Taste Of Cherry.
FWIW, I absolutely adored Wind, Olive Trees, Life Goes On and Close-Up. I might give this one a rental though, I wouldn't mind checking out the docu.
Does anyone know what the status of Africa ABC on DVD is?

edit: I didn't see the doc at this years TIFF, I saw 10 the movie at TIFF 2 years ago.

mk2 is releasing it in France sometime next year. New Yorker apparently plans to do the same in the U.S. mk2 will also be releasing Five at some point in 2005.

Well, it's about damn time is all I can say. I love this movie, and it's really frustrating whenever I tell people about a great movie that can't see.
