Wait what? I'm a little confused by your statement but I will do my best to help.
Do you mean films that break street date? Like if the dvd is coming out in the next few weeks and a store has it on the shelf early? That is just a random thing. Some mom and pop stores put films out before they are suppose to. But generally it's just a few stores that break street date.
Are you talking about a dvd of a film that is still in the theater? That's a bootleg and you can usually find them in the back alleys of any major downtown area. They are bad and illegal. The MPAA has recentlly tried to crack down on these and anyone who circulates them. They aren't official releases and are usually recorded using a digital camera in the theater, a rip of a film telesync or through a leaked promotional copy. "backups" is a term used for bootlegs. they are bad.
you are welcome.
