Originally posted by Nagheenanajar I would guess all the films would receive the SE treatment. Honestly, why wouldn't they do that? I think sales would be pretty poor if they forced you to buy a whole boxset just to get a Batman SE. I certainly wouldn't buy it. Also, I hope they do this boxset the way Fox did the Alien Quadrilogy where you could buy the movies individually so I could just get Batman and Batman Returns. Although, it would be interesting to hear Schumaker do a commentary of Batman & Robin if they chose to do that. |
My favorite part of B&R was when Alfred referred to O'Donnell's character as "Master Dick".

No more fighting, if they release a 4 box set they will also individually release each movie from the box set. Oh, but then you will want the additional disc with the extras...
I just saw Batman on tv last night. I can't wait to own it on dvd. Gotham City looks incredible. |

Im sure they'll release at LEAST the first movie spearately. Loved it when I saw it and will double dip for this one. Nicholson should have gotten a freakin' Oscar, or at least a nom for this.

Ill buy the first one (although I also liked the 3rd one too) Didnt like the 2nd and lets not even mention B&R :yack:

Originally posted by Son-volt Well, how many of us bought the Alien Quad box set even though Ressurection is abyssmal? B@R is horrible, but it's not that much more horrible than the 4th Alien flick. If this box is as complete as the Alien box, I'll buy it even with Chris O'Donnell's rubber nipples co-starring. I never understood why Batman and Robin costumes had rubber nipples, but Batgirl's didn't? |
Originally posted by ThatGuamGuy "Special Edition" is just a marketing term, it doesn't automatically mean something is being changed in the movie itself. That's just how George Lucas used it (and that was where the phrase was popularized, so that marketing people decided it was a good thing). |
Originally posted by GuessWho Spielberg had the "Close Encounters of the Third Kind Special Edition" with the new/extended ending WAYYY before the Star Wars rereleases in 1997. Also, what did they call 'American Graffiti' when they re-released it? I'm not trying to disprove what you said, I'm just curious if anybody knows. |

Originally posted by diespine i would only get it if the prince sound track was taken out, from what i heard tim burton did not want it and i think it sucks, i like prince but that music just does not go with the film |
