Coffee and Cigarettes DVD, WB saves on trees

Good movie, excelent picture quality but hey, what happened with inlay? ... uh, and unfortunately, one huge thing missing is Jim Jarmusch audio commentary. I wish, some day Criterion will buy this title.

but still movie is pretty good and cost me $15-99.

If you're holding your breath ever expecting a Jarmusch audio commentary, I hope you have a burial plot and insurance.

The only time that Jarmusch did a commentary was for the
Criterion edition of "Stranger Than Paradise" and since he was unhappy with the end result of his own commentary, they never released that audio track.

Seems he is put off by the idea, but he did try it......

This is an MGM title, so I'm not surprised WB wouldn't pay for the insert.

As far as WB and inserts, at least they are putting their DVDs in keepcases now. I can live without that slip of paper I never look at. Unless the company is going to do a nice Criterion style booklet I see no reason to bother with an insert anyway.

Use clear case. Put additional info on back of cover. Some music DVDs have done this. Looks great and is a pretty cheap solution.

I know what you mean, but my point is that such editions looks like more pirat copies than an authentic originals. I feel ripped off when I open box and see nothing but a DVD inside. I also know that insert has no use, just a piece of paper ... but I feel ripped off anyway
