Starwars.com DVD exclusive material...

Right now there's a text commentary for ANH that's pretty good - I recommend checking it out!

They promise more commentaries, etc., for all the films in the future.

Ok Toad. I've changed my mind. We need a Star Wars forum.

Is this one of those things that you have to be one of their paying members for?

No, all you need is the DVD and the included Interactual player, which accesses a special web site through the DVD player's browser.

You need a computer, of course, and have to watch the text commentaries on the computer, but it's pretty neat. They had a couple of extra commentaries for Eps. 1 & 2, too (I don't know if they're still available, though).

One & Only Thread About Star Wars Bonus Features!

I don't think this is redundant as the others talk about picture and audio and nothing specifically about the glorious bonus materials included on the 4th disc. I have only glanced some of the trailers, but boy do they take my breath away.

One was an oldie without John Williams music for "Star Wars". The Episode III tidbit even started off triumphantly and I can't wait to peruse the rest.

All in all...regardless of changes to audio, picture, what have you...I have the set finally and it is magnificent!!

Also, I saw some Easter Eggs mentioned for gag reel, etc...but seemed way complicated with remote no. entries, etc..Anyone find an easier way to access?

Please post joys and sorrows of your set's features as I would be very curious to see other's opinions (of course take your time and enjoy first!!)...

The easter egg is accessed by entering (THX) 1138 at the main menu screen (I assume). Entering 11 is the main problem, whether you have to do the (10+, 1) to get it, or just entering 11 will get it, it depends on your player. Enter 3 and 8 separately.

Anyone else have a problem with interactual? for some reason it always tells me there's a conflict with the audio. I'd love to watch with the facts posted.

I had a conflict; then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and everything worked fine. May want to give it a try.

Doesn't the trailor for Empire also show part of the Wampa-snowtooper attack?

Too bad they only had the SW:SE movie trailer. And why was it in mono?? At least the Laserdisc set has all SE trailers, and in beautiful stereo sound.

Empire of Dreams is one of the best documentaries about a film ever. The Episode III preview was okay and the gag reel was nice to have. So far I'm pretty thrilled with the bonus disc. I haven't even checked out the online stuff or Xbox demo yet.

Why does it have the SE Trailer but not the other SE trailers. The ESB/Jedi one showen before ANH, the Jedi one shown before ESB

You enter 1138 in the menu that has the scene from Falcon, not the main menu.

After each key a pause will happen (when you enter 11, a box should light up yellow).

If hit 1 twice doesnt work, use the 10+ button to enter 11 in.

I was watching this on my PS2 this afternoon, and I tried to get the easter egg to come up, and the little yellow box would appear, but I couldn't make it play. Anyone figure that out?

Question.

I never saw the '97 special editions, so if I watch the movies now it will be almost like a new movie to me. However, I am dying to watch the 'Empire of Dreams' documentary. Will watching that kind of spoil the additional touch-ups and stuff to the movies with a lot of clips? Or should I watch all the movies first, then the documentary? I am a busy busy person and can usually watch 1 or 2 movies a week (and the second one is usually the gf's choice!) so it could be almost a month until I get to the documentary. Any opinions?

Don't click on it, just hit 3, wait for the pause, then 8.

I'm gonna check my bonus disc and come back with the Title its on
