Problems with Star Wars bonus disk?

Sorry about another SW thread, but I didn't really see another suitable place ....

Anyway, is any one else having troubles playing any parts of the bonus disk? My player (Toshiba 6109C) locks up every time I try to watch any of the trailers or the Episode III content. When I pop it into my computer, it locks up the same places exceptwhen I use the Interactual player.

Do you think this is a defective disc or compatibility issue?

Just popped mine in and no problems whatsoever where you mentioned or anywhere on the bonus disc. Sorry you are having trouble.

Was gonna start this same topic latter tonight but thought I should respond that my older sony player has the same problem. Not sure whether im glad it is not just specific to me or not.

edit: mine acctualy jumps back to the begining of the preview but the strange thing is i can fast forward through that point and avoid the problem

Just as an update ....

I tried a different copy of the bonus disc and it worked fine on my player. I must have just gotten a bad disc.

My old Sony player from 1998 and my newer one both play fine. Looks like there are some bad discs out there.

My bonus disc in the EMPIRE OF DREAMS documentary has some minor hiccups at the following spots (possibly others) ..........

8:09 (Gary Kurtz speaking)
32:01 (Peter Mayhew starts to speak)
2:23:46 (George talking about changes to Star Wars movies)
2:28:15 (Last scene of a New Hope)

In all the above scenes there seems to a minor audio/video skip or hiccup. The dvd continues to play and doens't really miss anything, but it's a bit annoying. This happens on my BRAND NEW AKAI DVDRW120 dvd recorder. My MAGNASONIC dvd player and DVD-ROM do not show this problem whatsoever and they are older than the AKAI unit.
