unloading the old season 1 set when everyone else knows that there is no stand-alone season 2 set would be a real bitch. You'd probably have a hard time unloading it for more than $20 if that ends up being the case. We'd all have to sell-off those old season 1 sets super-quick before the word gets out to all the J6P's.
I don't think it would be too hard to sell the Artisan Season 1 set, should paramount release it's own version of it. There are lots of extras on this set, including commentaries, which I doubt any release by Paramount would match. Besides, us Twin Peaks fans are a hardcore bunch and I bet most will chose to hang on to the Artisan release, as well as getting a set that MIGHT include seasons 1 and 2. Still, it's still all speculation at this point. No one can for sure say Paramount will release both seasons exclusively as one set, if at all...

selling the old season 1? blasphemy! no way i would ever get rid of any of those extras, even if i got the next set for free.

the quality is superb...best TV show DVD release that I've ever seen...I'll never get rid of it....EVER.

I agree. I'm quite impressed with the season 1 set.
