Which criterion to buy?

Which of these should I buy, Solaris, Discreet Charm of the Buorgesie, or Rules of the Game?

Am I the only one who finds these kinds of threads incredibly stupid?

depends what you like but the easiest film of the three to enjoy is Rules of the Game. What i mean by this is if you showed a hundred Americans each of the three, more people would like Rules of the game. It is an awesome DVD with some great extras.

Without knowing your tastes in films -- styles, directors, genres, etc. -- there's no way in hell I could answer this question for you.

That having been said, out of the three I'd go with Solaris, but that's just barely squeaking by Rules of the Game. I'm not much of a Buñuel fan, due to lack of exposure than anything else.
