Check other threads. You're not the only person to get it early...nor the first to post the pictures.

I guess this post is just about some sort of bragging rights?
Ok so you aren't trolling, you're just spoiling other peoples fun is that it? Does it make you feel better to shoot down other peoples threads? Too bad I can't share my excitement with the rest of the community because people like you feel the need to crap this thread. If you dont have anything nice to say then please move along. I think I stated that clearly in my last reply to you. If you really have a problem with this thread being started then get a moderator to close it.

Again, if you have nothing positive to share in this thread, then please move along.

They're a semi-local dvd distribution company near where I live(Ottawa, Canada). Although they do ship to the states I dont know if it would be as early as here.

So does anyone who ordered it from a "normal" web site (like Best Buy, Amazon, etc.) get theirs already? If at all possible, it would be cool if I could place an order today and get it by Saturday.

Amazon.co.uk shipped my Shaun of the Dead on the Saturday before the release date in the UK. I got it the following Friday.

Amazon for me almost NEVER ships early, always on Monday or Tuesday, making it arrive here either Thursday, Friday or sometimes the next week if they decide to Ship UPS. If I find a cheaper offline price than $37 then maybe I'll cancel. Anyway here's a question that was just Asked on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"

Which one of these Characters is labeled as a "droid"

Neo
Buzz Light year
E.T.
C-3PO

So sad they had to use a lifeline!

I cant beleive Jabba the Lucas actually released those HORRIFYINGly UGLY, cheap-looking, photoshop-newbie-wannbe, probably desinged by his adopted daughter, with Darth vader looking like teh plastic model kit, covers for this

Order of operations -

1. remove plastic outer film
2. release from outer slip case
3. REPLACE THAT TRASH with my custom silver covers
4. insert bonus disc into Return fo the Jedi in a double Amaray
5. Watch the movies

Dream on! I would expect that places like Amazon would ship MINE which I ordered MONTHS ago before they shipped an order placed today.

I mean come on this was on the radar for months and all of a sudden time is of the essence less than a week before release?

That's like asking people who have been waiting outdoors for weeks in line for Episode 3 if they would mind if you get in line in front of them five minutes before tickets go on sale. That could happen.

Then SCREW Amazon! I'm asking for ANY web site that might have started shipping already.

Your best chance of getting early would be through DDD if you don't use the free shipping.

How would I know months ago which sites would be shipping early? Chill out, man. It's only a question.

Fuck it. If I'm gonna get responses like this, I'll just wait until Tuesday.

If you want to try you can go to dvdsoon.com. IMO they are the best for Canadians. They ship early, free shipping(in Canada), about the same price as futureshop(when you pre-order), and unless you live in Quebec, you pay half the tax(GST only).

I know that doesn't really help you since you live in Austin Texas, and chances are if you order now you wont get it till later than Tuesday. Also you more than likely have to pay border tax and some insane shipping charge.

But since you wanted my source earlier... well now you have it.

FYI - In my (any mant other DVDTalkers') experience, DVDSoon is TERRIBLE at shipping to the US. You'll be lucky if you get that set before Episode III comes out. Seriously.
