Looks cheap, I wish they would of used casing along the lines of ST: Voyager, a nice green tint and it would look mint.

It looks great to me. If it's cheap enough, I may buy it.

1st film - Great
2nd - Awesome
3rd - VERY disapointing

I'll get this set just cause I loved the first 2 films. If I had hated #2, then I'd prob skip it.

i think i'm in the majority when i say i like the way the set looks. i also think its interesting that such a high profile release has so "little" cover art, if you know what i mean. that makes the set look very classy.

as for using the Star Trek Voyager style packaging...i've gotta say that i am EXTREMELY glad they didn't go that route. personally i think the Voyager designs are cheesy and uninspired. i'll give them credit for making each season match the next but as a package choice for a one-off box set...no thanks.

Well I wasn't trying to crap the thread, I was simply pointing out that someone who didn't enjoy the other two films as much as the first is still going to be dropping his cash on it.

Well that certainly backfired...well it's not that old, and for this forum, they were new pics.

Damn I hate being wrong .

I know you work at fox, but what is your job there? It seems like you plan to buy movies on dvd's that you didn't even like i.e AVP and now this one. Job must be paying you really well.

Well, you're absolutely right. That is where I got the pic. But like DVD Josh said, it hasn't been posted to this forum yet, so just like a used car that may be new to you...it's a few days old, but it's new to us. And because it was listed under the R4 section of DVDAnswers, some of us may not have noticed it. I know I hardly ever look over at the column when I go to that site.

But with regards to the packaging itself, it looks a lot like the first season of Highlander. Instead of the massive digi-pak gate-folds that studios have been using for their 6-10 disc sets, the first season of Highlander used three-3 disc digi-paks to hold the 9 discs.

Well I would buy this matrix set because of the extras. While I hated where the story went, I did enjoy the effects and seeing a lot of the behind the scenes would be nice.

As for fox titles. They are dirt cheap that I would be foolish not to buy them... except passions, cause I don't want to touch that one.

I'm below the line.

Hopefully the box will be pretty sturdy, it looks that way from the picture.

It would be nice if they changed it to 10 thinpaks.
