Late Nov. through Early Dec. - UGH

Just looking ahead to what's coming up between now and Christmas is making my checking accout ache. It's going to be especially hard on us Sci-Fi and action geeks.

I was looking at the upcoming schedule, and between November 23rd and December 7th alone, look what's being released:

24: Season 3
Seinfeld: Seasons 1-3
Batman the Animated Series Volume 2
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Spider-Man 2
Star Wars Droids
Star Wars Ewoks
Daredevil Director's Cut
Superman the Animated Series Volume 1
The Bourne Supremacy
The Matrix Ultimate Collection

Followed the next week by The Lord of the Rings Return of the King Extended Cut and Star Trek the Original Series Season 3.

I'm going to have to pace myself to make sure I don't end up in a divorce...

Man, considier yourself lucky, my list of the new releases I'll be getting in that same time perios is literally about 4-5 times as many new releases as you seem to want & except for the Batman & Animated sets, there is nothing you have listed that I would even want.

I have calculated my spendings for the next 3 months (Star Wars kicks it off) and I am officially gonna die from being broke without a dime to my name when this is all over

I guess I'm lucky; all I'm buying during that time period are Cloak & Dagger, and The Golden Girls: Season 1. Fortunately for my wallet, I'm not much into action or sci-fi.

Some of the stuff I will wait for a great sale at Deep Discount DVD before I order them. Spider Man 2 will be a pass, because I have to wait for the director's cut. Daredevil DC might be a consideration, but over all the movie was kind of weak. On the list, 24 season 3 and Seinfeld are the only two must haves.

Hmm, looks like it will just be Harry Potter and Spidey 2 Superbit for me. Seinfeld is tempting, but it's on TV a billion times a day.

I'm working on methods to cut my grocery costs from now till December. I could stand to lose a few pounds anyway, heh.

Just Star Wars for me. I'd love to buy the Star Trek sets but they're way too expensive for me.

Batman and Superman were delayed until January 2005.

And yet whenever I seem to turn it on, they are showing one of the same 15 episodes I've seen before. Personally, I can't wait for the DVDs. Watch them in order from the beginning, no commercials, no syndication edits, and hopefully good bonus features.

All the stores still list the Batman and Superman sets as December 7th - where's your info coming from?

There will be threads about what people buy every week. Folks can post their lists then. Closing duplicate.
