Widescreen
I was hoping someone might have some inside information on why Toy Soldiers (1991) is only available in fullframe? I hate fullframe and refuse to buy it, but I was hoping that they would release the movie in widescreen. Does anyone know if they are going to release a widescreen version of Toy Soldiers?

Unfortunately, a number of films have received the fullframe treatment, and each and every one of us probably has a list of titles we haven't bought because they are not OAR. I'm not sure there really is any reason or pattern to this.

I was looking forward to this movie coming out on dvd. When it did and I found out that it was fullframe only, I passed on buying it. I love this movie but refuse to buy it until it comes out in OAR.

I know I'm bumping a massively old thread, but... does anyone have this disc? Is it completely open-matte, or are there a few P&S scenes sprinkled in?
