Terror Train DVD not available in Canada! :(

I work in a video store and I was going through the new release catalogues and noticed on two different pages that the DVD of Terror Train on Sept. 7th will "Not be available in Canada".

I could be mistaken and this could have been wrong information since it may have been printed a few weeks ago, but if it's true, does anyone know why Fox would decide to do this?

It said the same for the DVD of Basket Case 3 as well.

Another studio owns the DVD rights for Canada, it was a Canadian film you know.

I'm sure Alliance Atlantis is somehow involved. If something's not available in Canada, it's usually because their tainted fingers are in it somehow. If this is the case, expect Terror Train released in about three months, when Alliance finally figures out how to translate "Terror Train" into French. And then they'll need another month or so jamming about 20 copies* of their logo all over the DVD case.

*For example: on my imported Miramax version of Kill Bill, there's like 3 Miramax logos. On the Alliance Atlantis Canadian version, there's *18* of their ugly-ass logos all over the case and disc...

Maybe it will be a better version, like the Canadian 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' & 'Ginger Snaps' were?

Doubtful, but that would be tight.
