the only one i can think of so far is dude where's my car? ., daredevil, and family guy as examples

Are you sure those would really be R rated? Even PG-13 allows a certain number of times that fuck can be used in dialogue (as long as it's not in a sexual content).

dude, uses it at least 20 or 30 times, its used a couple of times in daredevil and at least once in a sexual fasion.

The commentary for "Dude, Where's My Car?" is hilarious. I've watched the movie on its own once, but three times w/ the commentary running. It's that much better.

I'm pretty sure Armageddon is still PG-13, even on the Criterion release.

The Criterion release is "not rated," but it doesn't make a differnence at all. The added scene adds nothing to make the film R (or nothing to the film for that matter).
