Forgot I posted in this thread.

I was at a horror convention a few weeks ago. Romero was there & he had a few of these, I was lucky to get one, signed, & have him sign a couple of posters & get my pictuer w/ him.

Anyway the DVD itself looks awesome on the outside, on of the best looking boxes ever, just the simple logo in a glossy red. But opening it up I don't care for it, it's that stupid folding 4 Disc case, like Simpsons, Batman Animated, I hate those things. It has a little crappy insert explaining the different cuts of the movies & then a small version of the horrible IDW comic adaptation, with hideous art.

The DVDs itself you can make a case this is the single best horror DVD ever released & if it wasn't for Videodrome coming out, it would be my favorite DVD of 2004. I've only watched the first disc so far (theatrical cut). The picture as expected is the best it's ever looked & the DTS track is booming, maybe a little too much so, call me weird but I kind of dig the old 2.0 mono better. The commentary is decent, nothing a die-hard fan of the film doesn't know & it's moderated by the DVD producer.

This is really as good as a DVD gets.
