Finally! This is one of those discs that I've been tempted to get from another region even though I knew the R1 was in the works.

good stuff. Yeah, I can't wait for this one. I haven't seen this movie in a while too, so hopefully I can hold out until the release.

Great news. They've been playing it with the correct aspect ratio on Starz the last month or so. One of my favorite David Lynch films and a must purchase.

All right. I hope Lynch will include some of the deleted scenes.

Details for the disc

From Video Business magazine:

David Lynch's 1990 romance breaks onto DVD on Dec 7 from MGM. Extras include extended interviews with the cast and Lynch, a new 30-minute making of featurette, the original promotional featurette and 65 behind the scenes photos animated with music.

I picked up the UK R2 a few months ago as I got fed up waiting for the 'ever impending', 'never quite finished yet' R1 SE. Will be offloading it on eBay now

that rivals Blue Velvet in terms of extras. Color me surprised.

Now I need to spend about a hundred bucks on his website and I will feel so Lynch.

Not going to dump mine unless the video/audio is deemed superior, so looks like I will have to wait for the reviews.

I'd heard from a friend that chats on lynch's website that Lynch supervised the transfer, so it's pretty likely it'll look spectacular.

Of course, this means no chapter stops.

So long as he doesn't disable the pause button, I'm good

I'm happy about this, I would like a slipcover over the disc in "snakeskin."
