when will the Smurfs season sets be out?
Hey,
Any word on when the Smurfs will be out on season DVD sets? Seems like it's taking forever considering a lot of older cartoons (e.g. Flintstones, Jetsons, Transformers, G.I. Joe and so on) been out already.

Ron: Smurfette *****s all the other smurfs. Why do you think Papa Smurf made her? Because all the other Smurfs were getting too horny
...
Sean: What about Papa Smurf? He must get in on the action.
Ron: Yeah, what he does is he films the gang-bang. Later on, he beats off to the tape!
Donnie:First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village, but the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have reproductive organs under those little white pants. That's what's so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. What's the point of living if you don't have a dick?

I watched every episode of this religiously when I was 7 years old or so (or whenever they were on TV). But I would never buy them on DVD. Come on, really. Some things you enjoyed as a child also hold appeal as an adult -- and often for different reasons. (The '60s live-action "Batman" series is a perfect example of this.) But Smurfs? I just don't think I'd have any interest as an adult in this.

However I would love to have a season set of the Smurfs, if nothing else to enjoy and have for my kids. Cartoons just arent the same these days.
