I'm a completionist so I tend to get all the movies in a series.

For me it depends on how I get them and if they are sequels or franchises. Like Elm Street, Friday 13th, Police Academy I have all the sets for but would never really buy them all seperatly. Disney is pretty much the core movies and now and then if I like a DTDVD sequel. I own Ghostbusters but not II, and I have Jaws and Jaws 3 (plus others I dont need to mention all). For TV I usually either get only season 1, if I get season 2 I am usually in for the long haul (dont ask why?)

I'll certainly be getting Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when it's released. I'd never consider owning either of the first two.

I can understand Elm Street and Friday the 13th, but what I fail to see is how the entire Police Academy series justified a space in your collection.

Does this series spark fond memories of your childhood?
