There's only 2 that I really want from this era;
Restless Natives 1985 (comedy from Scotland) 'Oh the humanity!!'
Crossroads 1986 (Ralf Macchio) I just loved the guitar duel!!
Scratch that, I saw that it's just been released.

I'm a huge fan of late 60's, 70's and 80's cinema. I have to give props to the DVD companies for putting out quite a lot of these films. I'm not really talking about the big films like Godfather and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I'm talking about the smaller films of Pacino, De Niro, Redford, Hoffman, Beatty, Hackman, Nicholson, Newman and Brando. When are the following going to see the light of day?

I spoke briefly with Rita Rudner about her experiences making this film a few months back and totally forgot to ask her if she had any news about an upcoming release (and perhaps a commentary).

Pirate Movie is due out along with Mischief and License To Drive, as SEs from Anchor Bay sometime in '05.
AB is also putting together an SE for one of my most wanteds- Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry.
no time frame for it, but i would expect it Q4 '05 maybe Q1 '06.
