Just read this GREAT news on DVDFile:
Due on November 2nd is the Gus van Sant cult fave Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, plus the religious thriller The Rapture and the acclaimed Australian drama Proof. All will receive the remastered anamorphic widescreen and DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 treatment. Extras include theatrical trailers on each, plus two separate audio commentaries by director Jocelyn Moorhouse and actor Hugo Weaving and "Martin's Photo Album" slideshow on Proof, and an audio commentary with director Michael Tolkin and cast Mimi Rogers, David Duchovny and Patrick Bauchau on The Rapture. Nice. Not only is The Rapture is a good movie, but it has Mimi Rogers naked in it. ;)

I'm glad to hear about The Rapture. I have a crummy video tape recorded off Bravo. Be nice to watch this without a screen full of static.

Yeah, I always figured when the movie 1st came out they were trying to sell it as some sex flick.
But with that dvd cover there's going to a whole lot of christain families that are going to watch this thinking it's a christain movie like LEFT BEHIND. And there reaction is going to like when Janet Jackson showed her booby at the Super Bowl. |
I agree. Trying to trick people into thinking this is a pro-religious film = bad idea.
