Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is coming!!
Add in the new video Store Magazine - page 37
August 8-14 2004 edition
Woodhaven entertainment is releasing a whole bunch of christmas movies and they list Santa Claus Conquers the Martians as one of them. ($7.99) They show a website of www.intermediavideo.com but I do not find it there. I am waiting on a call back from one of their reps to get a release date.
Looks like theirs a bonus on it.

This is a public domain title and is already available on DVD from CatCom. Do a search on eBay and you can find several copies. Original music by Milton Delugg (and his Band With a Thugg) from The Gong Show.

Errrr... yeah, as digidoh says, this is a PD title. It's been on DVD from a variety of outlets for a long time. I know that I've had my Delta/Laserlight edition for a couple of years now.
The CatCom edition has a bunch of other stuff like holiday cartoons, music, and old toy commercials.

I won't be happy until Pia Zadora's star turn in a true classic turkey shows up on DVD: Voyage of the Rock Aliens:

Some of us like to see unedited, untruncated, original versions of movies, not just the ones that have half an hour removed to make room for more robot jokes. We've been making up our own (in some cases far funnier) jokes long before MST3K came along.
I like MST3K and have no problem with their "digest" edited versions being out there, but not at the expense of the original.
Personally, I think Elvira's routines were far more entertaining though.

I thought on the MST3K discs that they included the full length original movie without the MST3K commentary? If so, I would be interested in Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (saw it in theaters when I was a kid - even then I could tell it was BAD, but it still might be fun to own).

I have a few copies in my collection and they're all about the same.
You could save yourself the trouble and just download it in mpeg2 format here: http://www.archive.org/details/santa...s_the_martians
and burn it to a dvd. That looks like a better quality print than what I've run across so far.
