Dvd not what it claims to be?
So, I ordered "Fantasy Mission Force" from DDD after their 20% off sale and have had it sitting on my desk in its packaging since then. I was interested in it as I wanted to see just how ridiculous the movie actually was.
Well, today I finally got around to opening it. The DVD was also labelled "Fantasy Mission Force", yet after putting it in my player it turns out that the actual movie encoded on the DVD is "Master with cracked fingers."
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as the dvd publisher is Madacy....but it still made me a little angry.
I only paid $4.80 for it, so it could have been worse.
Has anybody else had this or something similar happen to them?

I've seen instances (on VHS) where the packaging has one title, but the title on the actual movie is an alternate title that was used for release prints - any chance that this is the case here?

On a more positive note, it could be a collector's item in a few years.

Hasn't happened to me but it's been mentioned from time to time in various threads. Pretty rare, though.

WRT the original poster/question I haven't seen anything like that before but between the two movies I think you ended up w/ the better one

This happened to me once with a Universal disc. Here's a thread with similar stories.
