floating heads on the cover art
I would like to thank the idiot who thought these would be a great way to market the discs. seriously though, I would like some music vids and some bloopers and such. |
Trailers. So many great trailers, bt they are never given their proper due. And of course, I am referring to a special feature, not a compilation of trailers.

Agree with the trailer. Also we need more good "making of" documentaries on DVD (ala The Abyss), not those usual trash we usually found.

TV Shows (all eras)
|
Consistancy, what I mean by this is all DVDs coming w/ a basic set of features regarding languages and subtitles if nothing else.
|
60's Shows like Wild Wild West & Mission Impossible
70's Shows like Six Million Dollar Man and Shazam! DVDs like Shrek which comes with Widescreen and Fullscreen in a set (Also has alot of extras and differnet spoken languages) |
Catalogue Titles
In Concert (70's TV) Anamorphic widescreen releases of earlier pan n scam mistakes. |
Simple menus.
I like that when I throw Magnolia or a Criterion DVD player into the player, it goes right to a menu that asks me to watch the movie or pick a feature. I hate these elaborate menus that show clips from the movie or something fancy for a minute and a half. It's a big waste of my time. |
90's nickelodeon shows
salute your shorts alex mack welcome freshmen hey dude i know the 18-21 market would buy them. |
Fusion and more good music dvds:
Allan Holdsworth Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech Frank Zappa('79 to '90) Pink Floyd(Animals and early David Gilmour solo) Camel Steve Lukather(more) Steve Morse ...amd more/older Tour de France collections. |
more 90s TV shows:
Hanging With Mr. Cooper Home Improvement |
Radiohead in concert, what's the holdup? The best band of the last 10 years and notta. Queen has about 4 or 5, who knows why.
Bjork has ten gagillian DVD's. Radiohead people, come on snap out of it! |
1. Innovative use of DVD technology for purposes such as language instruction, DVD magazines, travel guides, how-to guides, etc.
2. Isolated DTS soundtracks (as extras) 3. Prewar Japanese films 4. Non-English television series (with English subs) |
Originally posted by JoeyOhhhh Cowbell ;) I also agree with Crocker Jarmen regarding simple menus. If you've never seen the movie, half the time the menu clips ruin some of the best scenes. |
I really like the Warner Night at the Movies concept where you get a newsreal, a couple of shorts, a cartoon and the main feature. We definitely need more concept DVDs like that with classic films.

Original Mission Impossible series.
