MillenniuM shot in Widescreen?

After viewing the documentary and the Pilot trailers, it's mentioned that the Pilot episode was shown in selected theaters. Were all (3) seasons shot in Full Frame? Or just maybe the Pilot only?

I just received a reply from the Chris Carter official site.

To our knowledge, none of the seasons were shot in widescreen. The pilot episode was developed specifically to be shown in theaters for it's premiere . Plans are to release all three seasons of the show, however, no release dates are available yet.

Thanks!
Morgan and Michelle

I believe that S1 was shot in standard full-frame, but that S2-3 were shot in widescreen--like the X-Files, broadcast in the 4:3 ratio. I hope Fox releases the other sets in their proper aspect ratios, if the widescreen ratio is correct.

Fox is usually pretty good about releasing TV shows in their original aspect ratios, so I would imagine that future seasons would be released in widescreen. I just wish they made the musical episode on Buffy Season 6 anamorphic.

Yes, I am. All Fox shows at that time where being done 16x9, ready for HDTV. IMDB is not always that accurate.

Was it 16:9 from the beginning, or from Season 2?
