I was listening to the Outtake Performances disc of the Criterion Collection's Monterey Pop Festival set, and while I am always amazed at the quality of the artists there, I am very disappointed with the Mamas and Papas footage for one key reason--unless I'm just missing it, it seems like Mama Michelle's voice was poorly mixed. Yes, Mama Cass had a powerful voice, but even still, we should be able to hear Michelle and with one or two 5 second exceptions, I can't. Is it just me?
