Wouldn't go that far, but I would say that the additions are 90-95% positive.

I agree in part with the earlier poster about the TTTEE. It is great but it is not the quantum leap that the FOTR EE was. I am totally excited to see 50 minutes of new ROTK.

Did anyone see the fan cam from SDCC? The bits with Saruman were quite cool.

Based on what I've seen, in general it seems like the FotR:EE expanded the plot/backstory, TTT:EE expanded the characters, and the RotK:EE will expand the action. All are brilliant in their own way. If you haven't seen the bootleg video of the trailer for the RotK:EE, seek it out. It'll get you riled up too.

I disagree. TTT was in much more need of a EE than Fellowship was.
