Hey all,

I am a big fan of this movie, and just wanted to know if it was ever going to be released on DVD ? Also, do you think it will be a special edtion?

I heard Criterion was obtaining the rights in early 2005. Also there are rumors of a deleted Campbell on bizarro-Campbell sex scene to be seamlessly edited in.

Damn you AOD. You just made my wish list +1. Why didn't I look at dvdcompare before I ordered the Boomstick Edition.

Oh and also, Campbell's scene in Spider-Man 2 was hilarious. What a stud.

If the R3 isn't that good. It has several scenes where it turns grainy, different scenes than the really grainy scenes from the R1 releases. So if we could only somehow combine the R3 and the R1 releases, then we'd actually have a decent Army of Darkness DVD. Someday...

i think the evil dead movies suck. they need to release a sleepaway camp boxset from anchorbay or something.
