While this may have seemed like an odd title to go back and revisit, the earlier disc kind of suffered from being a relatively early release and there was definitely some room for improvement. The new Dolby EX and DTS-ES tracks are really incredible and the features are much meatier this time around. The menus are also some of the best I've seen in a while (there's even a few surprises in the menus!). And for the record, the new SE does have English Captions along with Spanish subtitles. Trust me that every inch of the DVD-9 was used this time around. It's almost an hour and a half of video extras plus the director's commentary. Hope you like it

Man! I hate it when this happens. I buy a movie and when I think they will not be out with the special edition. I go ahead and buy it and now i have to sell my old one and get this one. This is why I have been collecting shows more than movies. It's part of the reason. I wait most of them out till later. Which is great because I haven't bought "Deep Impact" yet and now they are coming out with a special edition for it. If only they will release special editions for The Faculty and Face/Off... I will be set.
BTW Love the cover art

Hahaha, poor Canadians... still, it's not like there's a death squad stopping them ordering the dts version if they want to.
I LOVE the new packaging.
Now, how is the dts? Given the nature of the film, I'm expecting tons of swirly surround effects... will I be disappointed?

A little confusing, but not necessarily incorrect.
