Lots of good stuff there - particularly pleased to see Explorers and Fire In The Sky now have actual release dates instead of just rumors.

I thought Eddie Murphy Raw was never going to be released.

I've seen parts, so I'm going to pick it up.

Also gonna get Star Trek Generations and Untouchables

I don't know how reliable they are, but CH shows Ragtime as being available for pre-order with a release date of 6/29/04.

Glad that Paramount going to release I Married A Monster From Outer Space. A good underrated '50 sci-fi film.

Great post! Lots of good stuff here.

I'm surprised to see Raw and 1492!

I'll be waiting for:
Raw
Explorers
Fire In The Sky
Untouchables

and a few more.

Thanks OP

Shouldn't they release Delirious before Raw?

That would make sense...but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. Hopefully we'll see that before i'm elegible for a retirement fund.

Something else that's sad is that Eddie says he has no desire to return to stand-up. Sometimes, if he's at a comedy club, he'll get the itch if he's feeling the energy....but it's not something he thinks about.

Guess he's settled into his PG-13 niche quite comfortably...

Sad.

That makes sense considering Paramount owns both concerts.

Yes, its the one where the guys in the mountains come across a UFO and one of them gets kidnapped and they take off. Its one of the best abduction films out there. I really liked the whole alien ship scene. Plus it was a true story...

Maybe I listed the wrong titles. I have seen 2 or 3 threads about movies listed here. Ah well.

I'm not surprised at all about Raw: it was shown in HD last year, wasn't it?

All mine. The fact that I recently got both The Assassination Bureau and Conquest of Space on VHS is offset somewhat by the fact that I've recently very nearly bought VHS copies of Bug and The Naked Jungle, but held off in the faint hope of a DVD release. Yay!

Since nobody else has reacted to The Naked Jungle, probably because most don't know what it is, I'll see if I can get anyone interested.

First off - it's not a great film, but if you like to see Charlton Heston chew the scenery as only he can do, and behave in an unbelievably chauvinistic manner to his new mail-order wife, this is it. Pure turn-of-the-century jungle plantation soap opera for the first hour or so.

But wait, there's more...

See, there's this two-mile-wide, twenty-mile-long swarm of army ants approaching the plantation, leaving nothing but utter devastation in their wake. The film's conclusion has Heston fighting the odds and trying to save the plantation from the ants.

You've probably never seen anything quite like it. I'll be buying it for sure, but some of you guys might like to see it too - if not a purchase, then a rental. Give it a shot.
