EDIT: Now that I take a look at that link, for the Unrated version it says "Snap case with slip sleeve," so the possibility exists that the unrated version has the good cover underneath the other cover.

Well I bet the 25 minutes was just a rumor since it seemed there was no real proof of it being legit. Just started up somewhere and people took it for fact.

The 9 minutes is more true to what the director originally said when released theatrically. That the unrated version would add at least 10 minutes of footage,both gore & charecterization.


I can not wait to pick this up though! Heck I may buy both versions if the price is right. Love the menus and all. Too bad the trailers are not included from the looks of it,damit!

I am looking forward to the dvd release although with only 9 minutes added they should have got this out in July.

Likewise, and I guess since its Universal, the films two trailers won't make the disc either. Glad it is coming out unrated afterall though.

I'm hoping that unrated cover is just a slipsleeve... how come the rated disc has a zombie on the spine, but unrated gets a headshot of Mekhi Pheifer!?!?! What the hell is that about? I'd take a zombie or Sarah Polley over that any day.

in terms of extra gore, could be heaps, remember all it takes sometimes is a few extra seconds in a particular scene to change it from being impressionist gorey to explicitly gorey

or go region free and order the r3 dvd from hong kong, it came out about 4 days ago.
