Robin of Sherwood?
Did I hear this series is coming out in complete season sets on Region 1? Or perhaps I just dreamed it?

HERE
Here is the only place I am aware of that you can get a Region 1 NTSC version of the whole series.
I hope its going to be released in the US because I REALLY want this and $200 is a little steep for me.

Anyone know if the US R1 version is different really from the UK version? I've got a region-free player and will just save the $30 if it's the same.

I thought they were going to release an R2 box set, but they don't list on on the first site, and I don't remember hearing about one getting released. If that second one is R2 made for UK, you might want to make sure it isn't PAL (unless you can view PAL material of course). I don't see where it lists the video format but if it is an R2 UK release, it probably is PAL and not NTSC.

The second one is the R2 version, which is PAL. There is no market for a NTSC R2. The first set is R1 NTSC. I can view PAL & R2, but I was curious because I can't find a comparison on the audio/video or the extras. If I'm spending that much I'd like to try and pick the best set.

The region 1 set was originally a limited run of 1500. They have since increased this to 2500. Mine is #0006.

It's interesting that network video doesn't list the full UK set on their site, as they are the company that released all of the sets. I have the four smaller UK sets and they are all region 0 (not 2).
Regardless, you can't go wrong with RoS.
