I agree - they are doing a great job with this series, because they cannot come out fast enough, IMO.

ahh more cahs for them to take from me, not that I mind as its just turning into the best series ever made, and we in UK had a lot of episodes taken from our TVs as there was some shooting and crap like that happened around the time of season 5 I think, at last I can see them.

bring them on, maybe some nice extras would be nice please. :)

Season 5 is where Pembleton , right?

Season 5 is also where the show kind of dips in quality - it's still great, just not as great as 1 - 4. Season 6 then dips in quality quite badly - it almost becomes like a soap opera. Season 7 is a little better than 6, but it didn't quite recover. (they are all worth owning, though).

Season 5 is where Pembleton I agree that it's also point where the show begins it's slow decline.

That show didn't decline one iota until season 7.

I'm putting the order for S4 into the mail on Friday.

I really hope they include the PBS documentary on the episode where Vincent Dinoffrio gets stuck under a train.

It was an hour long behind-the-scenes of that specific episode of Homicide and it followed it from inception, to writing, pre-production, filming, editing, and finally re-editing for censors and airing. It was a great documentary on what everyone goes through while making an episode of Homicide. Since it deals with a season 5 episode, it would make sense to include it in this set.

"The Subway" episode was from season 6, but it would be nice to have that documentary included when that season comes out.

Yeah you're right - I could have sworn Pembleton left after season 5, not 6. Which means the first half of season 7 sucks real bad, and the second half picks up a little.

The best damn show ever was never the same after the introduction of Falzone.

Robin Williams appeared in "Bop Gun" from Season 2. The episode also had a young Jake Gyllenhaal (not coincidentally, the episode was directed by his dad)
