Would definitely buy both of these. Saw them in the theatre during original release.

FYI - This is out on a 4 movie set from Echo Bridge. I heard that the transfer isn't the greatest though. Wal Mart did have this set for $5 about 2 months ago. Not sure if it's still there or not. Amazon has it for a decent price though:

I would love for these two movies to hit DVD someday or to
find out that either is available in another region, etc:

Up The Creek

The Town That Dreaded Sundown

I may be cheating by naming a TV show, but I really want Fox to put out a Journeyman set.

Re: So which movies still need to hit DVD?

This list is specifically for official North American DVD releases. I'm aware some of them have international releases, so this need not be pointed out to me.

Accion Mutante
The Blood on Satan's Claw
Cast a Deadly Spell (the HBO movie)
The Day of the Beast (El Dia de la Bestia)
Eversmile New Jersey (most Daniel Day-Lewis fans have no idea this bizarre movie exists)
Necronomicon: Book of the Dead
Next of Kin (AKA: Montclare) (the 1984 NZ horror flick directed by Tony Williams, featured in Not Quite Hollywood)
The Sect (directed by Michele Soavi)
Witch Hunt (the HBO movie)

OOP or in need of reissue
Colossus: The Forbin Project - desperately needs a full WIDESCREEN transfer. The Universal DVD is pan & scan.
Quatermass and the Pit (1967)
David Cronenberg's Shivers (O, Criterion, Where Art Thou?)
Shriek of the Mutilated w/ audio commentary!
The Evil Dead - Anchor Bay hasn't reissued this enough times for maximum exploitation of fans. (Just kidding. Seeing if anyone's reading this.)

Re: So which movies still need to hit DVD?

OK, I know it's a dreadful movie (IMDB rating 3.9), but 'He's My Girl' would amuse me on DVD. It 'stars' Jennifer Tilly, and her voice sends shivers down my spine.

yeah, it's horrible. don't buy it for Curtains. it looks to be the same dark muddy VHS transfer as the R2 release. still waiting for a decent release of Curtains.

Re: So which movies still need to hit DVD?

Are we still talking only about titles that need to be on just DVD (not Blu-Ray)?
I know I've seen - even had - some of the titles mentioned here on disc.
