Not sure if it's an 80's, but I grew up on "The Lost City Of Gold " cartoon in Australia, and it would be neat to see this come out.
I loved this one too. The whole series is actually available in France on a 6 DVD set. Unfortunately the only language option is french, and no subtitles are provided :(

If anyone remembers 'Dogtanian and the three Muskehounds', it has just been released on DVD in the UK.

I usually go to http://news.toonzone.net to find out on new cartoon sets.

They have this about DVDs of Heathcliff and The Littles.
http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=101176

Some posted they would like to see Dungeons & Dragons on DVD. Animated Bilss says there is going to be a region 2 release of the entire series in September for the UK.

And as for Muppet Babies, it's on DVD, in one way. I saw commericals
of new Muppet Babies dolls of Kermit, Gonzo, Piggy, Fozzie and others. And each comes with a DVD with one episode on it. Here's a thread on another forum talking about it, with links to pictures of the doll/DVD sets: http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showt...2&page=1&pp=15

isamu 03-20-04 12:24 PM

thanks snor...nothing on MASK I presume?

Axorr 03-20-04 05:38 PM

well, I, for one, want "Danger-Mouse" on DVD. I "think" I have all the episodes on VHS, but would appreciate them in a better format!

Not really a cartoon, but I also really want Fraggle Rock...

asianxcore 03-20-04 06:35 PM

Silverhawks
Thundercats
Heathcliff
The Smurfs

that would do it, right there.

Mike Lowrey 03-20-04 07:09 PM

While I have some fond memories of some of those '80s cartoons like Thundercats, Silverhawks, Voltron, He-Man, She-Ra, Smurfs, and Thundar the Barbarian, I'm not sure I'd want to spend money buying these things at 30+ years old.

KingSmoth 03-20-04 10:16 PM

Wow, lots of memories with a multitude of the shows mentioned.
One show I absolutely loved when I was younger was Superted. I'd love to see it again, but I fear if I did it would only ruin my fond memories...
