Scrubs DVD Box Sets

I don't know if this has been discussed yet (I did a search for the past year and didn't find anything).

Has anyone heard if there is going to be a DVD box set released? They are almost into their 3rd season!!! It's about time to release the DVDs!!!!!!!!

I would buy Scrubs if NBC (or whoever) released the show on DVD.

Actually isn't Scrubs in its 2nd season right now?

I'm guessing the R2 version of the 1st season will be out in a couple of months. Don't even bother wishing for an R1 release; it ain't gonna happen.

Yes, Scrubs is in its 2nd season... almost into its 3rd season, as Joxer said.

I thought Scrubs was a top 10 show... or at least pretty high up there. I think it has potential to get released as season sets.

I can think of one nice extra... Lazlo Bane's Superman video, which was directed by Zach Braff. It was on a Circuit City demo disc... pretty neat.

Yeah... so if anyone with any power to release a season set of Scrubs happens to be reading this thread...

I'd definitely buy at least four sets. Maybe five. There's money to be had here people.

There are a couple shows, they haven't quite made it to TV yet, they actually haven't been written or thought of yet, but they're really good and I'm tired of waiting for them to hit DVD.

Let's face it, for now on, everytime an episode of anything appears on TV, it should be available on DVD the following day.

I like Scrubs too but don't often get to see it.

I believe R1 and R2 are for Region 1 and Region 2 DVDs.

I would love to get Scrubs, one of the most underrated shows on TV.

I missed about the first half of the 1st season, so DVDs would be great.

Scrubs is a sit-com. Sit-coms usually sell well into the syndication market. If Scrubs were released on DVD before going into syndication, it could hurt those sales. My guess is that it would be a couple of years before Scrubs will be on DVD.

Scrubs is a Touchstone Television production, so Disney would be in charge of the DVD's.

One of the problems that could possibly prevent the release on dvd is that they need to clear all the music that are in the episodes, most at the time were new and upcoming artists, and I know recently I heard "A Murder Of One" by Counting Crows which of course is a hit from the mid 90's.

I could be wrong (and often am) but I thought that all the newer shows worked out the music deals so there wouldn't be the holdups as with earlier shows.

Great show. Good stuff.

I find it appropriate tho that Zach Braff is on a website called "america's queen."
