Who wants MacGuyver season1?

This is thee SET they ought to release!Remember MacGuyver folks?,I hardly did since I was only about 8 yrs old back in '86 but I sure remember that he was Creative as heck in creating things
to save his butt,I believe the protagonist' name was Richard Dean Anderson---and he would be able to create Pipe Bombs and stuff out of Bubble Gum and Tin Foils!
I believe the show only last for one season---did it actually suck that bad or did they ran out of inventions?,
Oh well,It used to be one of my favorite shows.
Let's petition for a DVD Release!!-where can I sign up?

theres only so much he could put together to create something to stop a bomb.

I wouldn't really buy it, but it would be nice to have out as an option.

Um ... it ran for like 7 years, much was really bad, including two pretty lame telefilms. I've said this before, and I'll say it again ... trust me on this ... preserve your memory of this show, and don't watch it again. I made the mistake of watching these again 10 years later, and the series does not hold up.

If you remember your lost Uncle fondly for bringing you candy when you were 8, don't go searching him out to find he's an alcoholic womanizer who only gave you candy to distract you while he stole from your piggy bank. Let the memory be. MacGyver is the same way (well, without the candy).

I'd say he's right... I saw a couple of episodes a year or so ago, and it was a much lamer show than I remember (used to love it)

Even after all these years, MacGuyver is still a guilty pleasure of mine. Mostly the earlier seasons, before it became "MacGuyver: Social Worker." Fight terrorists, not local drug dealers and gangs in high schools, damnit!

I use to watch MacGuyver when I was a kid. Loved when he gets into a jam and improvised a way out of the sticky situation. Remember his use for a bubblegum?

It's called Ironside.

I'd buy all those (except maybe Barnaby Jones and T.J. Hooker).

Wow, a Macguyver DVD would really be handy if I got in a jam. I could use it as a frisbee-type weapon, I could use the reflective data side to temporarily blind my captors, and I could use the disc as a flathead screwdriver to remove a heating vent cover and make a stealthy escape...

Hey, don't knock this series too hard. It's actually quite enjoyable to see a character who uses his mind to think his way out of a situation and has a strong dislike for guns.

Some of the writers and directors went on to other projects, and got their start on MacGyver. In fact, Terry Nation, the creater of the Daleks on Doctor Who, wrote some of the earlier scripts.
