I started with Charade ($28.49 at Best Buy,) then I picked up Samurai I for $10 from a pawn shop, Beastie Boys for $14.99 used from Wherehouse, Robocop off of Ebay for MSRP, Unbearable Lightness of Being from DDD for $17.96, L'Avventura from Hastings for $19.99, and Chasing Amy from Best Buy for $10.79.
I want Brazil and the Monty Python films, as well as the Hitchcocks and Kurosawas (other Japanese stuff, as well.) I am also planning on getting most of the comedies (W.C. Fields, Alec Guinness, etc.) I was really wanting to get the Hard Boiled/Killer discs, as well as the Tati films, but I can't afford to spend EBay prices on those discs. Most of the others I would like to get as money permits, as has been stated before, I can sell them for what I paid, although I will probably hang on to them until I get a full set. :D |
