I'm in need of about 5 or so of these cases to fix some damaged ones in my collection, but I can't find them anywhere. I'm talking about the ones that the 2 disc Star Trek movie special editions were released in, I'm thinking they're 20mm. eBay has tons of empty cases, but none of this size and places like Casetopia only sell slim stuff.

Am I going to have to buy a bunch of used DVDs from Half Price Books to salvage the cases?

They're called Alpha double DVD cases, the only link I could find in a quick search was at Amazon and I think these are 3-disc cases, I don't know if you could find something like them at Ebay...

I believe Casetopia does have what you want. I have a Star Trek: Insurrection set here and it's a 22mm Scanavo. Have a look at

OK, that's them but even the cheapest shipping is double the price of the cases.


But now that I know they're called alpha doubles, that's getting me better hits on eBay. I've bought cases from there before so maybe I'll have some luck now.
