What do you call the cover that changes images when you tilt it?

Some DVD covers have those really thin vertical ridges, where the image changes depending on how you tilt it. Like if you hold it one way, you will see one image. But then if you turn it slightly, you will see a totally different image. What is the name for that type of cover?

They never get them right, because to see the image change cleanly, with no blurry transition from one to the other, you have to hold the image sideways. That they never seem to simply shift it sideways before hand so holding it normally reveals the change clearly and cleanly, makes no sense to me.

I have lenticular placemats and even those suffer the same problem.
