The kind that lock on the bottom with their yellow locks?

I'm not sure about where to order them, but I'll bet you can scoop a bunch of empty cases if you have any store closings in your area soon. It may be worth keeping an eye out it that becomes the case

Re: Blockbuster cases

Usually around once a month when Blockbusters destroy a bunch of old rental discs they take the old cases and dump them in the dumpsters behind the store. If you are there at the right time you could probably either ask them for some cases that they are throwing away or just take them out of the dumpsters. Just don't get caught.

When I learned about this I started thinking about it, and realized that Blockbuster spending a lot money on these different cases for every dvd/bluray in every store, and just throws them away instead of reusing them is extremely wasteful from a financial stance, and this is another reason why they're going bankrupt.

While I agree it is wasteful, I have to think that Blockbuster buys so many of those cases, that they pay pennies for each. Its gotta be cheaper for them to toss them, than to pay an employee to switch them out.

Re: Blockbuster cases

I have tons of Blockbuster cases and hate them. They are too tight on the hub. If anybody wants to trade for mine I'll take Amaray cases for them.

How about this then: it's also wasteful from a environmental viewpoint.
