King Kong 3 Disc DVD

I imagine there's a general "booklet" thread, but I can't find it. Maybe I'm blind. Anyway, should the 3-disc Kong set have a booklet? I found it for $1.50 at a pawnshop and it was in great shape, but there's nothing but the discs inside the case.

Yeah, inserts are often only in the first pressings of DVDs.

What sucks is when 'collectible booklet' is still listed on the back of the case as a special feature, even when later pressings don't have the booklet.

^That would be a good thread... I know the newest Princess Bride is guilty of this.

I picked up Kong during the best buy $10 sale, years after the release, and it has the insert.

I agree. Just out of curiosity, is it really that difficult for movie studios to change the packaging when later releases don't have certain extras, such as inserts or booklets, or are the studios just too lazy to update their products?
