i thought some sites just showed an early mock up version of what it was as whitish, but most sets only contain gold figure and not sure if the whitish was mass produced or even produced at all.

the gold version is limited and #'d though.

The Silver color is just a promotional picture (prototype) prior to the release of the actual product back in 2005.

The silver one (display prototype) was showcased at 2005 Los Angeles E3 Geneon Booth (and the very first I came across with Scanovo - they were with Geneon that time)

As far as official release:

The silver color was for a dvd set released in Japan




While the gold set is basically the Limited #d Edition in USA
